The Hisense group is entering the OLED TV field with a 15″ OLED TV based on the LG OLED panel. The Hisense OLED TV will be released to consumers sometime in 2011.

On January 6, CES (Consumer Electronics Show) officially opened in Las Vegas, at which Hisense’s executive vice president Lin Lan introduced the company’s newest technologies and products debuted at the show. Hisense’s Hi-smart TV, Hi-Touch TV, Internet-connected TV, OLED TV and large-size cinema TV demonstrate the company’s major breakthroughs in technical pre-research and new product development. LG has a very nice OLED TV at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. It’s a 31″ model with 1920×1080 full HD. LG has stated that they plan to release a 31″ OLED TV this year so let’s keep our fingers crossed that this will be the model released to the public.

OLED TV fans can see a new Sony OLED TV at CES 2011. It’s a 24.5″ model, glasses free 3D. While there are different opinions on 3D TV, we can probably all agree that it’s still a great picture and that no-one will be getting one anytime soon.

Here’s a video clip of the new Sony OLED TV prototype from my friend Erik.
